SRH vs RR: Watch – Dhruv Jurel takes a hard hit on the throat as T Natarajan attacks the batsman

Dhruv Jurel, on Friday (May 24), received a severe blow to his throat while batting in the recently concluded second qualifier match between Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

The incident took place in the 18th innings of Rajasthan Royals when the right-hand batsman was facing T Natarajan. The keeper-batsman suffered the injury on the first ball of the over while trying to play a pull shot.

The left-arm pacer bowled a slower short delivery and Dhruv Jurel came a little early to his shot. He failed to make any contact with the ball and it hit him right in the throat. He fell immediately as the players rushed to control him. Fortunately, the injury did not appear serious as Dhruv Jurel quickly got up and continued batting.
