Sufiyan Muqeem dismissed Abhishek Sharma after dismissing him on the first delivery of the seventh over during the match between India A and Pakistan A in the Emerging Asia Cup. Emotions are at a peak every time these two teams play, resulting in such incidents on the field.

Sufiyan bowled a longer delivery on the line outside off stump, to which Abhishek tried to hit towards the cover region but could only reach the leading edge of the bat. The ball flew towards the point where Qasim Akram took a good catch to dismiss a dangerous Abhishek.

When the fielder caught the ball, Sufiyan looked at the batsman and put a finger to his lips before signaling him to leave with the same finger. The batsman did not react and returned to the pavilion as Pakistan A got their first wicket.

The bowler was probably delighted to get a big wicket on the first delivery of his spell, prompting him to make an unnecessary celebration. Things could have been ugly if the batsman had decided to return it, but the game passed without further drama, even though Sufiyan could have avoided this triggering antics.
