Sunrisers Hyderabad batsmen started the game again, dominating it in their own way despite the early dismissal of Abhishek Sharma, the orange cap holder in this edition of the IPL. However, Travis Head regained his touch and powered his way to his second explosive half-century of the season.
However, after Travis Head’s massive dismissal against KKR ace Varun Chakravarthy, the momentum of their innings slowly shifted towards the bowling side. With six wickets falling in no time, spinners Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy picked five of them, also restricting the flow of runs.
Sunil Narine cheats on Salil Arora and collects his 200th scalp in the IPL
Sunil Narine left SRH batsman Salil Arora baffled when he hit the top of his stump to pick his 200th wicket in IPL history. KKR have bounced back after a dominant start from the SRH batsman in the first 10 overs.
Narine came in to bowl his last over of the match after having started his stint in the powerplay. He was just one wicket away from the big milestone in the IPL, and he picked the wicket with the first ball of his final over.
Salil Arora looked absolutely clueless against Sunil Narine’s jaffa, which moved slightly and hit the top of stump. They picked six wickets with less than 60 runs on the board in the eight overs of that middle phase.

Sunil Narine lures Ishan Kishan into a double whammy in his finale
Having crossed the 200-wicket milestone, Narine became the first player in IPL history to have picked all those wickets for a single franchise, the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Players like Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the other bowlers with over 200 wickets in the IPL, have played for various franchises throughout their careers. Narine kept adding to his tally and gave his team a huge relief on the last ball of his spell.
He lured Ishan Kishan, who seemed determined to advance down the track, and bowled a little shorter, keeping it out of the bat’s batting line. Kishan bowled it into the day sky and Anukul Roy completed a simple catch. Narine became the first foreign spinner to surpass 200 wickets in the IPL.
Anukul Roy completes spectacular grab to dismiss SRH captain Pat Cummins
KKR’s spinners did a more than remarkable job in those overs against one of the toughest batting units in the IPL. Sunrisers have dominated those overs, with Heinrich Klaasen and Ishan Kishan the stars.
However, Rovman Powell dismissed Klaasen with one of the most extraordinary catches in the deep, and the spinners dominated nine overs between them, with Chakravarthy picking three wickets after a costly first over and Sunil Narine picking two in his last over.
However, Anukul Roy bowled just one over, which was the 17th over of the game, and after being smashed for six over the straight boundary, he bounced back with that wicket of Pat Cummins, the SRH captain who has the great ability to score vital runs towards the back. He made a stunning catch, which seemed to fall on him from his own bowling.
