While Team India is currently occupied by playing the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the management of the Indian team has taken its view to the 2027 World Cup.

India has not won the tournament since the historical victory on its ground in 2011. In 2023, the men in Azul had described for the final before suffering a heartbreaking defeat at the hands of Australia. Chief coach Gautam Gamble has already made it clear that he has begun to plan the Mega event in 2027.

Just after being appointed chief coach last year, he had declared that both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli would be part of the 2027 World Cup.

Southumumar Yadav one of the favorites to return

According to the reports, the team’s management has not yet renounced Suryakumar Yadav in regard to his future in the Odi team. The right batter had the opportunity to prove his value in Odi in the past, but failed to take advantage of the opportunity.

Suryumumar Yadav has not played a hati for the Indian team since the 2023 World Cup final. And although he has not yet played a hate since the appointment of Gautam Gambler, he is still in dispute for a place in the Odi team.

According Sports tak Vikrant Gupta, the team’s management is still contemplating to remember Suryakumar Yadav.

While Suryakumar Yadav has been one of the best T20i batters in the world for a long time, he has not been able to replicate that performance in hate. The Mumbai star has played 37 Odi so far and has scored 773 races at an average of 25.76.

While Gautam Gambhir has won two Cups from the ICC world as a player, he has not yet put his hands in the coveted trophy as coach. The former operator of India has faced severe criticism for the way things have been developed since he took over the team last year.

However, he is now just a victory to win his first ICC trophy as a coach. Team India has qualified for the final of the ongoing ICC champions and will locate horns against New Zealand in the title decrees.

India has already defeated New Zealand once in the tournament and will be imagining her chances of winning them once again.

Gautam Gambhir can also become the first Indian coach to win the Champions Trophy. While India has won the competition twice in the past, they were trained by coaches abroad on both occasions.
