Suyash Sharma replicates Shubman Gill’s celebration after dismissing GT captain in RCB vs GT clash

RCB player Suyash Sharma dismisses GT captain Shubman Gill and mocks him by imitating his celebration technique in the ongoing clash between RCB and GT at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

RCB have been boosted by their bowlers this season, and one such instance was seen when Suyash Sharma dared to mock a player of Shubman Gill’s caliber. RCB have always been known for their character and it has seemingly spread from Indian great Virat Kohli to everyone in the dressing room.

Suyash Sharma mocks Shubman Gill by imitating his celebration

Shubman Gill opened the innings alongside Sai Sudharsan, and with the left-hander taking most of the strike, the Indian star decided to play the anchor role with a slow innings of 32 runs. However, he looked to clear the fence from time to time.

Shubman received an aerial ball from Suyash Sharma and he too tried to drill it down the leg side but ended up being dismissed in the deep. With Gill dismissed, Suyash mocked him by imitating his celebration.

The spinner bowed and handed Gill a send-off. This farewell was an imitation of Shubman Gill’s signature celebration, which has been witnessed many times in GT and Indian colours.

Shubman Gill’s 128-run stand for the first wicket with Sai Sudharsan gave GT a steady start

Shubman Gill opened the innings with Sai Sudharsan looking to cement a start for the team after a very poor show with the bat in their last game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Sai Sudharsan played a spectacular knock, assuming most of the attacking role; however, Shubman Gill stood tall on the other side, looking to add stability to the innings. With some smart scoring from the two batsmen, the Titans left with 128 runs on the board before Gill’s dismissal.

Shubman was sacked after the first Titans formed the biggest ever partnership against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. This partnership also set the tone for a huge total.

Will a GT win today take them into the TOP 4?

The Gujarat Titans have had a rollercoaster season as they managed to win some spectacular games, including a one-run victory against the Delhi Capitals, while also losing a very close game to the Rajasthan Royals.

Having won three matches and lost the same number of games, if they manage to win this game against the Challengers, they would have eight points after 7 matches, which would be the same as the Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Royal Challengers themselves.

Despite that, they did not advance to the top 4 positions due to their poor net performance rating, which took a further hit in their last loss to Mumbai Indians. However, the points table would open up even more, as three teams would have the same number of points after the same number of matches.
