In the 38th match, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) hosted Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. LSG won the toss and elected to field first, and once again, Ajinkya Rahane couldn’t give KKR the start they needed as he was dismissed for 10 runs off 15 balls. The KKR captain has had a bad season.
LSG got off to an excellent start as Mohammed Shami and Mohsin Khan were clinical with the new ball and increased the pressure when the latter took the wicket of Tim Seifert, who was back in the pavilion without scoring. Ajinkya Rahane followed as his streak of low scores continues as KKR are now in deep trouble at 21/2.
Ajinkya Rahane’s poor form continues
Ajinkya Rahane earlier had two consecutive ducks in this match. He struggled from the first delivery and despite hitting a six in the previous over, the delivery was slow and while playing a straight up drive, he provided a simple catch to Aiden Markram at mid-wicket. This will increase the pressure on the KKR captain.
Ajinkya Rahane, despite starting the season well, did not continue to score runs in the rest of the matches. He has scored 152 runs in 8 innings for KKR this season, which has been poor for a captain of one of the successful IPL franchises. His captaincy has also been questioned
Fans furious after Ajinkya Rahane leaves for low score
Ghanta, bhai KKR is the favorite team and Rahane is the favorite captain, his place is not shared and he has been named captain.

How foolish is the KKR management, backing this test player Rahane… and Raghuvanshi is a fraud #LSGvsKKR
