Pat Cummins was also asked about Virat Kohli’s century against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League match. The batsman recorded the slowest century in the history of the league as he reached the milestone in 67 balls. But his innings went in vain as RCB lost the game.

Although Virat Kohli scored a magnificent century under pressure, he was widely criticized for his slow pace of attack in the game. Pat Cummins also declined to comment on that, stating: “I don’t have anything to say about it either.”

“Maybe Abhishek Sharma is the right man for me. (He plays) first in the order, he plays pace bowling but spin bowling particularly well. “He takes over the game.”

Abhishek Sharma has been magnificent in IPL 2024 and has set the stage on fire. The all-rounder has scored 134 runs in four innings at a strike rate of 217.57. His best moment came in the game against Mumbai Indians, where he scored 62 runs.
