Adam Hose scored 45 runs off 30 balls, including 4 fours and 1 six, to lead the Vipers in scoring during their innings. Apart from Hose, no other batsman could generate much spin and he was dismissed after making ten or twenty runs or so.

The Abu Dhabi Knight Riders moved up to third place in the points table after registering a win in their first match of the tournament.
