Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Glenn Maxwell is having a torrid time in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. He got another low miss and returned for a low total in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) underway at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru, after being asked to bat first, got off to a magnificent start with the bat, thanks to Faf du Plessis (44) and Virat Kohli. The duo outwitted the Rajasthan Royals bowlers and made sure to create a huge opening partnership of 125 runs in the Pink City.
After captain Faf du Plessis came off, Glenn Maxwell, who moved up the order, was expected to break loose and continue his team’s momentum. But that was not the case as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru batsman scored another score and put pressure on his team.
Glenn Maxwell fell to Nandre Burger, who fastbacked an angled long ball. The batsman made room to cut and missed the ball completely. The ball crushed the stumps as the fast bowler gave his team the crucial breakthrough in the game.
