Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli has started his training with the franchise ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The batsman hit the ground running at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday (March 18).

Virat Kohli joined Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) late on Sunday night (March 17). He was caught at the airport while boarding a flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. There was a lot of speculation about his availability for the league.

But now he has been sidelined as Virat Kohli joined RCB ahead of IPL 2024. Speculations were there because he recently pulled out of the Test series against England in India due to personal reasons. His wife gave birth to his second child in London, so he opted not to participate.

However, Virat Kohli arrived in India just a few days ago and later he also arrived in Bengaluru. When he arrived in his franchise’s hometown, he made sure to show up for the team at practice the next morning.

Virat was seen doing the catching practice and fielding drill at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In the video that has gone viral on the internet, he can be seen wearing the RCB attire and training.

Smriti Mandhana revealed that she did not hear what Virat Kohli told her because there was a lot of noise in the stadium and they both gave each other a thumbs up. Talking about the same, she revealed:

“I didn’t hear anything he said because it was too loud, he just said thumbs up and I just gave him a thumbs up, I’ll join him.”

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will play the first tournament of IPL 2024. They will face Chennai Super Kings (CSK) March 22nd at Chepauk Stadium.
