Pakistan wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan took a stunning catch during the third day of the ongoing first Test match against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi.
Mohammad Rizwan executed a stunning one-handed shot behind the stumps to dismiss Zakir Hasan in Bangladesh’s first innings during the series opener.
Pakistan made a strong comeback after struggling at 16/3 on the first day at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan scored centuries and helped the home side post a formidable total. Pakistan captain Shan Masood declared his first innings with 448-6 on the second day.
Saud Shakeel and Rizwan put together a 240-run stand to claim the fifth wicket. Shakeel scored 141 runs off 261 balls and Rizwan remained unbeaten on 171 runs off 239 balls.
Shoriful Islam and Hasan Mahmud took two wickets each, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Shakib Al Hasan claimed one wicket each.

Mohammad Rizwan played a crucial role in dismissing Bangladesh opener Zakir Hasan with a stunning catch.
The incident occurred in the 17th over when Naseem Shah bowled a ball over a length. Zakir drove it off-side with minimal foot movement, resulting in a thick outside edge.
The ball was heading towards the first spot where Babar Azam was standing. The Pakistani goalkeeper jumped to his left and caught the ball with his left hand.
He fell to the ground after completing the catch. Babar and the rest of the team warmly welcomed Rizwan for his extraordinary fielding skills.
Mohammad Rizwan stunned spectators with his spectacular one-handed catch. He received praise from commentators who exclaimed, “The man of crisis, who has raised his hand not once but several times” and “A real idiot.” Bangladesh lost their first wicket with 31 runs on the board.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the video clip and captioned it: “An absolutely spectacular catch! 😲 The @iMRizwanPak gives @iNaseemShah his first wicket of the day.”

Khurram Shehzad cheated on Najmul Hossain Shanto
Naseem Shah broke the opening partnership of 31 runs by dismissing Bangladesh opener Zakir Hasan in the first session of the third day.
The home side achieved another breakthrough when pacer Khurram Shehzad bowled an inswinger to dismiss Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, who scored 16.
At the time of writing, Bangladesh has scored 75 runs for the loss of two wickets after 34 overs. Shadman Islam, who scored 28 runs off 88 balls, and Mominul Haque, who scored 12 runs off 17 deliveries, are at the crease. The visiting team is trailing by 395 runs in the first innings of the ongoing Test match.
