Arya explained her tactics for the opening stands.
The partnership between Arya and Singh was crucial in the successful chase. For the opening position, these two batsmen formed a partnership of 126 runs in 6.5 overs.
Arya explained that they continued to talk to each other as they created a strong partnership. Since the surface was good for batting, they did not hesitate to go crazy against the home team players.
“We (openers) were talking among ourselves that if we try to score 80 in the first six overs, then we can easily make 100 runs if we bat smartly. That’s what worked for us.
