Australia-India scored second highest run in a day’s play in day-night Test
Particularly in day-night Test matches, records for runs scored in a single day’s play have continued to break the boundaries. The highest runs scored in 2019, when Australia faced Pakistan in Adelaide, both teams amassed 383 runs.
This was closely followed by the pink ball match between Australia and India at the same venue, where a total of 379 runs were scored on Day 2. Other notable performances include Pakistan’s 369 runs against the West Indies in Dubai in 2016 and those of New Zealand. Impressive 362 against England at Mount Maunganui in 2023.
