Amid an electrifying atmosphere in New Delhi, Indian cricket captain Rohit Sharma embraced joy after his triumphant return from Barbados.

On Thursday, June 4, Team India landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport to a grand reception, where eager fans gathered in large numbers to greet the 2024 T20 World Cup champions.

Upon their arrival at the airport, they received a warm welcome with flowers. The celebrations continued from Delhi airport to their hotel, ITC Mourya.

However, it was Rohit’s dance to Punjabi Bhangra outside the team hotel that stole the show as he is known to be a shy lad who usually looks composed and focused on the field.

In fact, when the Indian players got off the team bus, a group of Bhangra dancers and Dhol players warmly welcomed them outside the hotel. Witnessing the lively scene, Rohit could not resist joining in the celebration, leaving his shyness behind.

The captain danced energetically to the beats of Bhangra alongside the dancers, creating a touching moment for the Men in Blue and their supporters. His energetic moves were a rare display of joy in Rohit’s typically reserved demeanor, and added to the celebratory atmosphere surrounding the homecoming of India’s 2024 T20 World Cup heroes.

Here’s how Rohit Sharma’s moves are delighting fans:

Apart from the Indian captain, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, batsman Suryakumar Yadav and wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant joined the dancers, showcasing their dance moves to Bhangra beats and creating an unforgettable moment to cherish forever.
