Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza was caught having some fun banter with Pakistan captain-batsman Mohammad Rizwan on stump during the first ODI of the ongoing three-match ODI series.
When Mohammad Rizwan reached the area, Sikandar Raza taunted the Pakistanis saying: “Welcome to Multan.” The fun banter didn’t end there, however, as the Zimbabwe all-rounder also dragged former Australian batsman David Warner into the picture.

Sikandar Raza told Mohammad Rizwan: “David Warner ki achhi phadi apne. (You gave David Warner a good beating).” To which the Pakistan captain said: “I like it”.
In fact, during the second ODI match between Pakistan and Australia at the Adelaide Oval, Rizwan was tricked into taking DRS after Adam Zampa spiked the ball. Well, Rizwan lost the review and David Warner was one of the commentators who laughed at the incident.

Pakistan later shocked the Australians by winning the three-match ODI series with a margin of 2-1. However, the Men in Green were whitewashed in the T20I series. Now, the clip of funny banter between Mohammad Rizwan and Sikandar Raza is going viral on social media.

Notably, Zimbabwe had won the first ODI by 80 runs through the DLS method against Pakistan, and Rizwan played a slow innings of 19 runs unbeaten off 43 balls at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo. However, Pakistan made a stunning comeback in the second ODI against Zimbabwe.
After restricting Zimbabwe to a paltry 145 runs in 33 overs, thanks to Abrar Ahmed’s four-wicket haul and Salman Ali Agha’s three-wicket haul, Pakistan’s batsmen chased down the target in 18.2 overs, as the tourists recorded a historic victory to level the ODI. 1-1 series in Bulawayo.

Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafique were enough to get over the line with extreme ease as the tourists won the second ODI by ten wickets against Zimbabwe. While Saim Ayub played an impressive knock of unbeaten 113 runs off 62 balls, Abdullah Shafique scored 32* off 48 balls.

Now, the decisive match of the ODI series will be played at the same venue, Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, on Thursday, November 28. After leveling the ODI series against New Zealand, Mohammad Rizwan took a swipe at critics by emphasizing the importance of focusing on the future rather than dwelling on past failures.
The captain said in the post-match press conference: “The past is behind us. Even this moment, as I speak, is already part of the past. Our goal is to stay focused on what lies ahead. Saim is an exceptional and very talented player. Unfortunately, he was injured in recent years, but what he did today is only 70% of his talent. We expect him to perform 100% in the future.”
Notably, it was Pakistan’s first ten-wicket win in the ODI match after 13 years. They won an ODI match by 10 wickets in 2011; since then they could not achieve such a big victory.
