Below you can find picks for Round 6 of the County Championship season from The Stats Zone’s top Cricket tipsters. All times given are based on UK start times.

Friday, May 10

Division One

Hampshire vs Durham – 11:00 BST

Kent vs Worcestershire – 11:00 BST

Nottinghamshire vs Lancashire – 11:00 BST

Surrey vs Warwickshire – 11:00 BST

Division Two

Glamorgan vs Sussex – 11:00 BST

Northamptonshire vs Gloucestershire – 11:00 BST

Surrey vs Warwickshire – 11:00 BST

After having watched Essex go down narrowly away to Somerset on their week off, Surrey will have an extra spring in their step heading into this game and are no doubt expecting further success against a team they boast a strong record against. Warwickshire’s top order have shone so far this season, but are yet to face a bowling attack with the potency that Surrey possess. Not to mention the depth of the hosts’ batting line-up, which so often gets them out of any trouble. With two straight wins under their belts, back Surrey to grab a third in this one.

Prediction: Surrey draw no bet

Kent vs Worcestershire – 11:00 BST

Kent will be riding the crest of a wave after securing their first County Championship win against Lancashire at Emirates Old Trafford since 1997. They proved most importantly to others and maybe even themselves, that they are capable of taking 20 wickets in a first-class fixture. This bodes so well for them moving forward and with Worcestershire winless so far this campaign, it may well wind up being a shrewd move to back Kent via the safety of the draw no bet market.

Prediction: Kent draw no bet

Nottinghamshire vs Lancashire – 11:00 BST

Something is clearly very wrong at Lancashire right now. An innings thrashing by Essex was followed up by a shock home defeat against Kent which sees the Red Rose now firmly rooted to the bottom of the table. Overseas batter Tom Bruce continues to struggle, the runs are not being accumulated, former experienced players such as Dane Vilas and Steven Croft haven’t been replaced adequately enough and usually reliable names such as bowler Tom Bailey are badly out of form. This serves as a huge opportunity for Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge to get their first win of the season and it’s well worth backing them to take that chance.

Prediction: Nottinghamshire draw no bet
