Heinrich Klaasen makes a sensational catch to dismiss Ayush Mhatre in SRH-CSK clash

Sunrisers Hyderabad star player Heinrich Klaasen made up for his past mistake by dismissing Ayush Mhatre with a spectacular catch. A catch that was not only unexpected for young Mhatre but also for bowler Nitish Kumar Reddy.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are looking for their third win of the season and expected a lot from their two uncapped pacers, who picked eight wickets between them in the last game against Rajasthan Royals; however, both attempted runs in this game.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, the home team, came early in the game after Nitish Kumar Reddy dismissed Sanju Samson on the first ball of his spell. Heinrich Klaasen completed the capture with excellent judgment.

Heinrich Klaasen compensates with an absolute blind after an early fall by Mhatre

The wicketkeeper batsman is no longer playing with the gloves as earlier Ishan Kishan and now Salil Arora take the gloves for SRH. Klaasen, however, is also known for his skills in the field, especially his safe hands under the night sky.

However, he failed to judge correctly a catch while running back when Ayush Mhatre had ducked Nitish Kumar Reddy’s third ball of the same. The fall cost them dearly as he added 30 runs in the next 9 balls.

However, Mhatre started limping at the end of Reddy’s second, and finally pushed a delivery wide, but Klaasen jumped and grabbed one out of nowhere to dismiss the batsman. The diving effort will surely be counted among the best catches of the season.

Heinrich Klaasen tops Orange Cap rankings

Sunrisers Hyderabad have seen Heinrich Klaasen over the years, and this season he has played a very different role than he used to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Klaasen was the powerhouse of the team and was known for his monstrous hitting and explosiveness.

However, he has evolved his batting technique this season as he has been promoted to a new role at no. 4. Klaasen has been their most consistent player with over 30 goals in every match this season and also three half-centuries in six matches.

Klaasen is currently the league’s top scorer with 283 runs in 6 innings, surpassing the likes of Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli. However, he has batted at a strike rate of around 150 instead of his brutal strike rate of 200 in previous seasons.

After Nitish Kumar Reddy, Eshan Malinga delivers trailers to SRH

All-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy has had a promising season, even though his team has not reached its peak form. He has been effective with the bat, but on occasions when he has failed with the willow, he has earned a spot with the ball.

Having also picked two wickets in this game, dismissing the in-form Sanju Samson and the dangerous Ayush Mhatre, Reddy gave SRH a chance to bounce back. On the other hand, Eshan Malinga, the usual wicket-taker in the absence of Pat Cummins, returned with impressive figures of 2/11 after his first two overs.

He dismissed the CSK captain, who seemed to be off to a good start this time and then again dismissed Sarfaraz Khan, who had looked a promising touch during the intervals for the Super Kings.
