India’s pace spearhead has been sidelined for almost a year due to injuries. Jasprit Bumrah has not played any competitive matches since the Hyderabad T20I against Australia in September last year. The right-arm pacer was included in India’s squad for the white ball series against South Africa, but he withdrew due to a lower back stress reaction.

As the Indian cricketing fraternity eagerly awaits the return of Jasprit Bumrah, the pacer has delivered a very promising upgrade. While reports indicated that the BCCI expected Jasprit Bumrah to resume bowling in August, the 29-year-old has already started.
