Phil Salt, after getting injured during a net session, was unable to play the last match against GT, and now the team’s batting coach and mentor Dinesh Karthik has confirmed that the opener will also miss the match against Delhi Capitals on Monday. Salt has not recovered from the injury he suffered before the GT crash.

Will RCB miss Phil Salt’s try against DC?

Phil Salt’s absence from the game will be a big blow to the reigning champions, as Bethell in the opener failed to show the intent and power that Salt has brought to the franchise over the past two seasons. Although the latter will look to score some runs in the next game.

Not just RCB, but DC have also suffered injuries as their pacer Lungi Ngidi almost survived a fatal injury as he landed awkwardly on his neck during the PBKS clash, and was immediately rushed to the hospital, with a green corridor. Ngidi is reportedly out of danger and will soon be released.

Can RCB take revenge on DC?

The DC vs RCB match will be a reverse fixture as both the teams have faced each other once this season. The match was at the M Chinnaswamy stadium.
