Punjab Kings (PBKS) face Mumbai Indians (MI) in match 33 of IPL 2024 in Mullanpur on Thursday, April 18. The match starts at 7.30 pm IST. The Kings come into this game after a loss in their previous game.

Punjab Kings took the game to 19 by trying to defend 147 but lost it in the end. They missed Shikhar Dhawan in the last match and will miss him for the next seven to ten days, according to coach Sanjay Bangar.

PBKS have struggled for good starting positions in the season so far and the absence of Shikhar Dhawan will make it even more difficult. That the bowlers performed well in the last match should come as a relief to the Kings.

The Kings have played six games and have won only two. They have yet to win two games in a row and have struggled for consistency. The loss to Rajasthan Royals should hurt them as it was a close game.

The batters will strive to give their pitchers a few more runs in the next game. Talking about possibilities, PBKS would like to field the same XI, especially without Shikhar Dhawan.
