An unexpected but exciting moment in the middle of the Wankhede Stadium when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Tim David expressed some doubts about the ball. The on-field umpires had to intervene in the matter to calm the batsman down.

After the second ball of the 18th over of the first innings, RCB batsmen Tim David and Jitesh Sharma were in the middle of the crease as David tried to explain something the ball showed.

As David juggled the ball, one of the referees tried to remove it, but David stood his ground. After a while, another referee came in and settled things. Former Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma also entered the batting cage and urged the umpires to intervene. Sharma and David had a brief chat after the match resumed.

Tim David, who has been in form for the team in the current Indian Premier League season, put up another great form for the team. Due to the Australian batsman’s late attack, RCB secured a total of 240 runs in their boundaries of 20 overs in return for just 4 wickets.
