India captain Rohit Sharma wanted a 3-match series final but was unsure if there was any window available to host the tournament. Rohit noted that in Test cricket, teams need time to find momentum and suggested a 3 match final series.
“I would love that [a three-match final] But is there a time? That is the big question. Honestly, at a big event like this you need to have fair chances for both teams.” said Rohit Sharma.

“A three-game series would be nice, but it’s about finding that window, where I can fit in. At an event like this, you work hard for two years and then you only get one chance.
