SRH Playing 11 vs RCB, IPL 2024


Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in match 30 of IPL 2024 on Monday, April 15. The match starts at 7.30 pm IST. This is the first meeting between both teams this season.

SRH have won their previous two games since their loss to GT. So far they have also been one of the two teams to have defeated Chennai Super Kings.

The players are fit and have played with intent so far this season. They have a balanced team with enough depth in batting and bowling. In the previous match against Punjab Kings, they managed to defend 182.

There are areas in which they can work and the field is one of them. Captain Pat Cummins made a brilliant catch in the final match but three catches were also missed in the final.

Abhishek Sharma

Sharma has also given the team quick starts. So far this season, he has scored 177 runs in five games at a strike rate of 208.24. He has hit 16 sixes so far this season.

Aiden Markram

Markram will be placed at three. In the match against GT he scored fifty and played quality innings against CSk. Unfortunately, he scored a duck against Punjab Kings.

Reddy made an impact in the last match he played for SRH. He scored 64 off 37 balls which took his team past 180. He should be given another chance in the next match.

Heinrich Klaasen (WK)

Klaasen had a rare miss in the previous match against Punjab Kings as he scored nine off nine deliveries. He has scored 186 runs so far this season at a strike rate of 193.75, the best among top run-getters.

Abdul Samad

Samad will come in at six. He made a good cameo in the previous match scoring 25 off 12 balls and stitching a 50-run stand with Nitish Kumar.

Shahbaz Ahmed

The Bengal all-rounder will occupy the seventh position. So far she has made some useful cameos for SRH. However, in the previous match he only bowled one over.

Pat Cummins (C)

Cummins will come in at eight. He has led the team well so far this season with three wins in five games. The Australian has taken six wickets in five games so far.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Natarajan is likely to conclude the playing XI for SRH. They may have a full-tempo attack against RCB and the spinners are likely to run at Chinnaswamy’s short boundaries. He has taken three wickets this season and 10 last season.

Sub-Mayank Markande Impact

Markande can be used as an Impact Sub against RCB. The hitters lack consistency and that is what he can take advantage of. He has picked up three wickets in four games so far.
