According to Cummins, Simarjeet is “exciting”, and SRH’s captain seems very impressed with pacemaker skills sets.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain, Pat Cummins, appointed former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) Simarjary Singh, a player to see in IPL 2025. SRH bought Simarjeet for INR 1.50 million rupees at the IPL 2025 auction.
According to Cummins, Simarjeet is “exciting”, and SRH’s captain seems very impressed with pacemaker skills sets. He was with CSK in the previous cycle, but he did not get consistent opportunities to show his skills despite doing it well most of the time.
However, he will hope to have more opportunities on the SRH side, and Simarjeet has been playing bowling as fire in the networks. That should reinforce its possibilities to start at the main XI of the bowling inputs for SRH from the first game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) tomorrow afternoon.

He is a genuine fast that hits the roof with force and can incline shorter in the body to calm the batters by space, which makes him an ideal executor. Simarjeet has the rhythm, as previously visible in the tournament, and if he obtains its correct lines, it is a real force to deal with.
How can Simarjeet Singh help SRH use their resources better at IPL 2025?
If Simarjeet Singh starts for Sunrisers Hyderabad, it will allow Pat Cummins to share the new ball with Mohammed Shami. While Cummins can also increase it and hit the deck with force, it is more appropriate while throwing himself in the power game from the beginning, where he can catch some WICKETS.
With Simarjeet in the mixture, it can be an executor and has previous experience doing this role for the Chennai -based franchise. The SRH does not have enough quality spinning and they may not play Adam Zampa, so they need to reinforce their means.
A general trend in Hyderabad has been that the spinnings have not had enough help, so the responsibility is in the pacemakers to do heavy work. If Simarjary plays, SRH ensures the best possible rhythm attack in the park.
Shami and Cummins will be played with the new ball, Simarjary Singh will be an executor, and Harshal Patel will be played in the second half of the tickets, including deaths. This will give the captain more variety and options.
